The Wallace Venue
Today on the blog I’m bringing you The Wallace Venue, with Rachelle! This girl and her team do it all! Rachelle, Sophia and their hardworking team are your main contacts for booking a Vancouver wedding venue. Rachelle will help you coordinate all the logistics with your venue leading up to your big day. The Wallace Venue is located in North Vancouver. The venue is on the third level of the reconstructed Machine Shop in the vibrant Shipyards development. This space is full of history with a modern vibe. The ocean and downtown views are the perfect view from their outdoor patio space.

.
Tell me more about the process of planning with clients for a wedding day.
We offer all information in our information package, then when clients sign, there is information in their contract and a FAQ page sent. The venues are a blank canvas, and we require clients to have a wedding planner or coordinator.
.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the Vancouver Wedding Industry and the friends I’ve made, and I honestly was always a “little know it all”, so it’s fun to be based at a venue, and just know everything about my venues and I get excited to share them with everyone!
.
What would you like clients to know about the planning process for their wedding day?
Please read all of your contracts and information packages. We share them for a reason, and this applies to all vendors! We are here to help, and we love to communicate everything to you clearly.
.
Anything else you would like to add to the blog post?
The Pipe Shop is owned by the City of North Vancouver and we manage it. So it has a strong community focus, which leads to an 11:00 pm end time, and no private events on weekends in the Summer. It’s super fun though because we get to host a variety of events. Come check us out – we have markets, fundraisers, beer festivals and conferences – all sorts!
