This Okanagan Engagement Session was in Kamloops, BC. When Kennedie and Chris reached out for their engagement photos, I was thrilled to hear from them!! Kennedie and I met a few years ago while I was photographing an event. When she inquired with me years later, she mentioned that she knew she wanted to hire me since that day.

About The Wedding

Kennedie reached out 2 years before her wedding day and told me that she wanted me for her day. Talk about the best email to receive EVER!! A year later we finalized her wedding date and the countdown began!! Kennedie and Chris chose to plan their ceremony at Privato Vineyard & Winery in Kamloops, BC and their reception at the Coast Hotel Conference Centre – Kamloops, which by the way, their catering is so good!! Uptown Chefs Catering does all their in-house and offsite catering, and their butternut squash ravioli is to die for!!

About The Couple

To tell you a bit about these two, Kennedie and Chris met online. While Kennedie wanted to make sure that whoever looked over her page, made sure to add a small note at the end of her bio. She wrote “tell me if you eat your red smarties last,” and sure enough, she received a new message from Chris who said, “I eat the chocolate ones, haha!!” She definitely caught his eye and after reading over her page, took the plunge to send her that message.

These two love going on trips together, eating out at local restaurants, and adventuring together. Recently they took up wine touring! It was such a treat just sitting down with these two halfway through our session to just talk and get to know each other. These two had the same friend groups growing up in Kamloops, but didn’t exactly meet until now!

Kennedie and Chris love watching hockey together, but since COVID hit, they enjoyed date nights at home watching Netflix, going out to eat, hiking, and exploring. They even started canning and making sourdough bread!! Talk about skilled hobbies to start up!
