We believe in bringing magic back into your life by helping couples dreams to life through one-of-a-kind events. Our attention to detail and ability to put your personality into an event will give couples a lifetime of memorable moments.
Powerful Moments Events works with couples to create beautiful events, we can work on a coordination style basis where we come in 6 weeks before the wedding to help finalize the details and prepare everything, or we can work with you from day one in a full planning and design capacity.

How would you describe your work/style?
I am a big believer that what you put out is what you get, I believe in showing kindness and compassion to my couples. I’m here to help bring their dreams to reality but also help them navigate tricky situations and challenges. In return, I believe I attract like-minded kind and caring clients. We want to provide you with the confidence knowing we have your back and will bring your vision to life. I have a can-do attitude and will always see if we can make even the wildest requests happen. I will forever be invested in giving my all and making your dreams a reality.

Do you require a minimum spend?
Our Hand Off Package starts 4-6 weeks before the wedding starts at $2500 and our full planning and design starts at $7000. We will create a custom quote for you based on our chat together during your consultation.

What is a typical or average spend that couples should expect for their wedding day?
We typically see wedding budgets between 45k-100K+ This varies on the city, venue, catering style, and how decor and floral are incorporated but it’s a starting point. We like to create a budget with clients that includes all the little extras that are often forgotten and can add up over time. At the end of the day it’s your money but we hope to guide and educate you to make informed decisions you feel confident in.
Part of our job is to help you understand the costs and find the right fit for your budget.
Do you offer packages? Can you elaborate on or describe your current packages?
We currently offer two formal packages:
The Hand Off:
This is for the couple who wants to plan their wedding but needs help to pull the final details together and manage the wedding day. This service begins roughly 2 months before the wedding day. We will meet with you to discuss all your wedding plans as you “hand off” your wedding to us. We will build your wedding day timeline and communicate with all your vendors leading up to the day. We will be onsite for the entire wedding day making sure your vision comes to life.
Full Planning:
We take care of all the planning elements in our full planning package. We will start by building your custom wedding budget. Then help bring the right vendors onboard, and build your design and floral vision. We will manage the planning tasks, set up all the meetings needed, and bring your wedding vision to life. With our network of wedding vendors, we know the right people to involve to give you the best value and service. On the wedding day, we will be onsite making sure everything is running smoothly and no detail is left to chance. We can create a partial planning package if you need a little extra help on specific planning-related tasks, these are bundled as an hourly package based on a consultation with the client. While weddings are our primary focus we can also work with clients to celebrate a birthday, elopement, engagement party, proposal, or corporate events.

Tell me more about the process of planning with clients for a wedding day.
It all starts with a consultation. We believe that a good and authentic connection with our clients is key to having a great working relationship. For a full plan once clients come on board we will be discussing their vision and dreams and narrowing down the right vendors to include in the day. It’s a beautiful ongoing project that builds over time. We like to break things down into smaller tasks that help keep couples feeling calm and excited about the current task. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with the entire planning process but we want to minimize that stress as best we can. For our Hand Off package clients will receive our online shared folder with a shared workbook they can input all their wedding details into and share with us, they also receive our Save the Day Wedding Booklet with our best planning tips and tricks along with our recommended vendors list. We arrange our details meeting roughly 6-7 weeks before the wedding to discuss all the wedding details! From there we work with vendors to finalize details, build the timeline and ensure we have a smooth and well-managed wedding day!

What do you love most about your job?
Oh my goodness, so many things. But I am a sucker for a love story. I’m a very sentimental person and getting to create moments for people that I know they will cherish forever means the world to me. I’ve always wanted to be able to help bring people’s dreams to life. We live in such a fast-paced world and to be able to bring them a day where the entire focus is to share their love story…It’s the best job!

What would you like clients to know about the planning process for their wedding day?
It’s important to put trust in the vendors you hire. You’ve hired them to do a great job and you must have felt a connection with them to choose them. Allow them to show you what they can do, you never know what brilliant ideas could come from letting the professionals do their thing!
From the planning side of things, clear communication and being honest with your planner is very important. While we wish we could, we can’t read your mind and if you aren’t happy about something or don’t like the direction of things you need to be honest. This is where my belief about kindness comes into play as well, you can kindly and honestly share with your planner if you are feeling like things aren’t right or you want to change the style and direction. It’s an ongoing relationship as we typically work with couples for anywhere from 10-18 months. Your planner is there to have your back and the best way we can do that is when you share your likes and dislikes with us so we don’t waste time presenting options to you that you won’t like!
