Justine being one of my past brides decided that this year she wanted to celebrate her sister’s 30th. What better way to do that than a Sister’s Session. She booked one of my “Galentine’s Day” mini packages to celebrate her sister Lauren.
Now, Justine originally wanted to surprise her sister with this photoshoot and at first, she had no idea. As the days go closer, Justine was trying to secretly tell her to wear something cute for a walk up at Rose Hill Park. Her sister, Lauren eventually caught on and as they made their way up to the location, she asked Justine if it was a photo shoot. She was right!!
Our session was up at Rose Hill Park, which overlooks the City of Kamloops (it’s one of my favourite locations!). Little did we know (or expect) but there was a tone of snow! I don’t mean a little bit…a lot!! I created some footprints in the snow so that Justine and Lauren could follow. Let’s just say it was worth the trek!
For those of you who don’t know, Justine planned her elopement up at Sun Peaks Ski Resort in the middle of winter. This girl seems to always get me out in the snow…and let’s say it is always worth it!! We had nothing but sunshine this day, we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon to shoot.
