Where are you located?
The founder, Madeline is based out of maple ridge, but her team of artists are located around the lower mainland. They travel to our clients as they are a Mobile business and do not operate out of a studio/salon!

Mobile beauty business & agency offering services: Makeup application & hair-styling for weddings and special events/occasions, brow lamination & tint, brow shaping, lash lifts and tints & 1:1 and group classes/courses for makeup & brow lamination

How would you describe your work/style?
Timeless, from either that naturally effortless look to a full done-up glam. Our style of work that makes you feel and still look like yourself – but enhanced! Travelling to clients to make their experience effortless and comfortable. Our promise to our clients is to enhance each individual’s natural beauty and confidence! We want each client to have fun and feel at ease during their experience with us.

Do you require a minimum spend?
No minimum spend is required.

What is a typical or average spend that couples should expect for their wedding day?
$100-$200 for individual services, $200-$2000+ for bridal parties & group bookings!
It really depends on the location, number of services, and Artists needed to complete the job.

Do you offer packages? If so, can you elaborate or describe your current packages?
Yes! We do offer packages, for weddings & graduation clients we offer hair and makeup combo rates!

Tell me more about the process of planning with clients for a wedding day.
Clients go to our website, find the services they’re interested in, and click the “book now” button which gives an inquiry form to fill out. Once the form is submitted, Madeline (Founder of MBMJ BEAUTY) coordinates with her team of artists & gets back to the client with availability, and their booking quote & information! (usually, reply within 1-3 business days.) We also provide a timeline breakdown of their getting ready process so everything is timely and runs smoothly.

What do you love most about your job?
Making a difference in people’s confidence and seeing their faces light up when they see themselves after enhancing their natural beauty.

What is something you would like clients to know about the planning process for their wedding day?
Book your services at least 6-12 months prior to secure your bookings! Bridal tip: you can hide tissues in your bouquet for easy access when you need them for those happy tears! 😉

Do all your packages include a trial?
Trials are separate! Hair and/or Makeup trials are available for mothers of the bride & groom, bride, groom, and or anybody booking a service with us!

When do you recommend clients book their trial?
Yes! Highly recommend clients book their trial so both the artist can get a feel of their hair & skin tone, type, and texture, to curate using the best suitable products and tools for them. As well as to communicate, understand, and execute the client’s exact vision for their desired look, making any necessary tweaks so it is perfect for their special day!

Anything else you would like to add?
We provide makeup touch-up kits for our Brides & Graduation clients! They are also available for purchase for $4 for anyone else wanting one. WHAT COMES IN A TOUCH-UP KIT? The color chosen of Lipstick/lip gloss sample with applicator, vitamin A & D lip balm, 2 oil blotting papers, Q-tips, & and a lash wand.
